What a weekend. 👏🏼 We came to Roadkill Nights with a brand-new platform, a lot of work behind us, and even more left on the table. The SIXPACK didn’t give us everything we wanted off the line, but once it came alive on the top end, it WORKED. We ultimately ended our night against Titan by just .003 seconds. Three thousandths. We also learned that the racing surface was 330 feet — essentially a 1/16 mile, not a full 1/8 mile. We built this car in a very short amount of time with the 1/8 mile in mind, so knowing how much power we had at the top end gives us a lot to work with moving forward. Of course we wanted the win, but losing by .003 with a completely new platform shows just how competitive this car already has the potential to be. And we’re walking away from Roadkill Nights with something we’re extremely proud of: the most powerful built Hurricane engine we’ve produced yet. Now it’s our job to keep developing the rest of the combination around it. Most importantly, we had a damn good time. We built something new, raced some great people, learned a TON and got to put months of hard work to the test. We’re proud of this car. We’re proud of everyone who put their hands on this build. And we’re damn proud of Jack for getting behind the wheel and competing. A huge thank you to every sponsor and partner who believed in this build and helped us get it to Roadkill Nights. For us, it’s a couple weeks prior to that in preparation. What I’m most proud is how our entire team Seth, Kevin, Tony, Christian, Jason, Kip, Jeff, Minh and Dayton work so hard to get everyone ready. Not only all of them qualified, we managed to come home again with more hardware in 1st, 2nd Place and some Personal Best. Everyone and car made it home safe with no engine failure.
