Privacy Policy

Information you give us:

• Account & profile: name, email address, phone number, password (stored as a hash by our authentication provider), profile photo, and any details you add to a member profile.
• Vehicle & service information: vehicle year/make/model, VIN, modifications, service history, dyno results, and documentation associated with your build or garage.
• Orders, bookings & payments: what you purchase or book, billing details, and transaction history. Full payment card numbers are collected and processed by our payment processors, not stored on our systems (see section 4).
• Content you submit: photos, videos, comments, event check-ins, and anything else you post.
• Communications: messages you send us, including lead and quote requests.

Information collected automatically:

• Usage & device data: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring pages, and approximate (city-level) location, collected via cookies and similar technologies, including Google Analytics 4.
• Log data: our hosting infrastructure (Cloudflare) records standard server logs for security and performance.

• Provide the Platform: accounts, garage portal, bookings, orders, memberships, and events;
• Process payments, deposits, invoices, and refunds;
• Send transactional communications (receipts, booking confirmations, service and maintenance reminders, account notices);
• Send marketing communications where permitted (you can opt out any time);
• Display content you choose to publish (builds, leaderboard entries, member profiles);
• Understand how the Platform is used so we can improve it (analytics);
• Prevent fraud and abuse, enforce our Terms, and comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

• Service providers that run the Platform on our behalf: Cloudflare (hosting, content delivery, media storage), Supabase (database and authentication), Google (analytics, and YouTube/Places data display), Meta (display of our Instagram/Facebook content), Intuit/QuickBooks (payments, invoicing, accounting), and Resend (transactional email). Each receives only what it needs to perform its service.
• Our affiliated dealer entity, when you engage in a vehicle purchase, sale, or title/registration transaction;
• Law enforcement or regulators when required by law, subpoena, or to protect rights, safety, or property;
• A successor business in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets; your information remains subject to this policy or one at least as protective.

Payments are handled by third-party processors (for example, Intuit/QuickBooks Payments). When you pay, your card or bank details go directly to the processor over an encrypted connection; we receive confirmation of the transaction and limited billing details (such as name, amount, and last four digits) needed for receipts, bookkeeping, and support. The processor’s handling of your data is governed by its own privacy policy.

We use:

• Essential cookies: session/authentication cookies required for login and security. These can’t be switched off.
• Analytics: Google Analytics 4, which sets cookies and collects usage data as described above. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on or by blocking cookies in your browser.

Embedded third-party content (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube) may set its own cookies when displayed, governed by those providers’ policies.

Parts of the Platform are public by design. If your build is published, or you post to community features, the associated content, such as your display name, vehicle, photos, dyno figures, race results, and leaderboard entries, is visible to anyone and may appear in search engines and Jotech marketing. Contact us if you want a published build or profile taken down.

We keep personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services, then for the period required for legitimate business purposes: for example, transaction and invoice records kept for tax and accounting law, service history tied to vehicles we’ve worked on, and backups retained on a rolling schedule. When retention is no longer needed, data is deleted or anonymized.

We use industry-standard safeguards: encrypted connections (TLS) across the entire Platform, encrypted storage with access controls, secrets management for credentials, and role-restricted access to personal data. No system is perfectly secure. If we learn of a breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you as required by law.

Depending on where you live (including under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act and the California Consumer Privacy Act), you may have the right to:

• know what personal information we hold about you and receive a copy;
• correct inaccurate information;
• delete your personal information, subject to legal retention requirements;
• opt out of marketing communications;
• not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

To exercise any of these rights, email sales@jotechracing.com from the address on your account (or with enough information for us to verify you). We respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of on that front.

The Platform is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced on the Platform or by email, and the “Effective date” above will change. Your continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
