Pre-purchase inspection

JOTECH PPI

Buying a performance car without an inspection is a coin flip with someone else's maintenance habits. We put the car on a lift, on the dyno, and under a lab microscope — then hand you the report.

01

Oil analysis

A lab report on what's actually circulating in the engine. Bearing wear, coolant intrusion, fuel dilution — the stuff a test drive will never show you.

02

Compression test

Cylinder-by-cylinder health check. Weak rings, tired valves, and head gasket problems show up here long before they show up on the street.

03

50-point inspection

Interior, exterior, engine, suspension, braking, paint, drivability, cleanliness — every point recorded pass/fail with notes, not just a shrug and a thumbs up.

04

Dyno power check

The car goes on our rollers. If the ad says 700 horsepower, the report says what it actually made — with the chart to prove it.

How it works

  1. 1

You (or the seller) get the car to the shop in Garland. That part is non-negotiable — we don't do parking-lot inspections.

  2. 2

We run the full program: fluids to the lab, compression numbers, the 50-point walk, and pulls on the dyno.

  3. 3

You get a written report with every data point — the same structured checklist that backs our Jotech Certified program.

  4. 4

You negotiate with receipts instead of vibes. If the car's clean, you'll know. If it's not, you'll really know.

Pricing on request

Every car is different — a stock 911 and a built GT-R are not the same inspection. Tell us what you're looking at and we'll quote it. A passing PPI is also step one toward Jotech Certified if you end up buying the car.
